Our welcoming, private and comfortable environment can serve as a safe and accepting escape away from the stresses of everyday life. We can also accommodate the entire family at once and offer a fully equipped play therapy room for our younger clients.
At Synergy Counselling we individualize our treatments to fit the unique needs of each client to offer the most effective and evidence-based therapy possible. Our collective training includes current modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Expressive Play, Narrative, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Satir Family, Solution-Focused, Dialectical Behaviour (DBT), Self-Regulation (SRT), Gottman Couples Counselling, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Therapies and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy and The Daring Way™ (based on the work of Brené Brown) events.
In response to the new Family Law Act, our team continues to work toward a multi-disciplinary / collaborative approach to keeping separating and divorcing families out of the court system. We currently offer one therapist, who is approved by the BC Hear the Child Society to provide non-evaluative “Hear the Child Reports”.
